The gifted students attending Burkeville Elementary School participate in a variety of activities to extend learning beyond the general curriculum. Gifted students are placed are encouraged to participate in activities where individual interests are emphasized. The following list details specific activities where differentiation occurs.

1. Student choice projects
2. Field trip with BPS- Science museum or Historical site.
3. Paired learning or group leaders
4. Accelerated reader- reading on individual level
5. Reading groups
