  A Message from the Principal...

Burkeville Elementary School serves students in grades Pre Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Headstart and Early Childhood Special Education.  Reading is a primary focus for Burkeville Elementary School.  Our goal is to provide an instructional program that motivates our students to become lifelong learners.  We hope that all of our students will finish Kindergarten reading on the first grade level.

At Burkeville Elementary, we believe that all children can learn successfully when given the opportunity.  We also recognize the importance of active learning as well as critical and creative thinking.  We are looking forward to the new school year!

By working together as parents, school and community, we can give each child the opportunity and experiences needed to ensure a successful academic career. If you have any concerns, suggestions or would like to volunteer, feel free to contact me at 767-5236.
