The Longwood Center for the Visual Arts' Main Street Gallery, Festival of Lights, is a collaborative project by the art students in Nottoway County Public Schools.  Mrs. Cary would like to thank the fifth and sixth grade NIS artists for all their hard work on their Chinese Zodiac Animals and/or their team participation on the Chinese Floor Cloth.  Mrs. Cary adds, "You have created outstanding projects, and I am proud of each and every one of you."

The show opens on Monday, February 18th and ends on Saturday, March 22nd.  Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.  The exhibit is located on the lower level of the LCVA.  Mrs. Cary hopes NIS students will bring family and friends to Farmville, VA to view the front window display, as well as the 2008 Annual Youth Art Exhibition.
