In your classroom or on the bulletin board, put up a large, laminated tree and cover it with paper apples. On each of the apples, write a supply item that parents can donate to your room. (Supplies could range from Lysol wipes and Post-its to dry erase markers.) Parents take an apple and return it with the supply. Put the apple back on the tree with the parent's name on it. At the end of each month have a raffle for the parents who have helped to make your classroom a success.

Middle/High: Trivia Contest Bulletin Board
| This bulletin board will change weekly or every two weeks. On Monday, post three to five trivia questions for the students to answer. The questions can be related to your current topic/theme or from current events in the news. Place a box with a slit in the lid near the bulletin board. The students are to write the answers to the questions and their name on a slip of paper and put it in the box by Friday.Throw out papers without names or with incorrect answers. From the remaining papers, draw three to five and award small prizes. Throw away all of the slips of paper and begin fresh for the next week's contest. http://www.kimskorner4teachertalk.com/classmanagement/bulletinboards.html#Teacher |
