Summer Food Service Program

Nottoway County Public Schools are participating in the Summer Food Service Program.  Meals will be provided to all eligible children 18 years or younger, free of charge, on a first come first serve basis.

Acceptance and participation requirements for the Program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:

Book Mobile will not run on inclement weather days nor July 4th for the holiday.  Book Mobile will run June 6 – August 11, 2022.

Summer School @ Nottoway High School Monday- Thursday July 11, 2022 – July 21, 2022.  Breakfast 8:15 – 9:15 a.m.  Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 pm. If you have any questions, please call Charlyn Pierce (434) 645-3536.  Please call in advance for any civil or church children’s groups that would like to participate.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:

Forms and Food Service Information

Nottoway County Public Schools Food Service Department is operated under the federally funded School Nutrition Program. Nutrition is an important part of the education process. Studies show that well-nourished students are better prepared to learn. We are committed to making nutritious meals available to every school child in Nottoway County and educating children to make healthful choices that will enhance their academic and physical performances.

Adults/teachers may purchase breakfast for $2.35 and lunch for $3.85.
