NOTTOWAY COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
*************************************************************

          The regular monthly meeting of the Nottoway County School Board will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the Nottoway High School Mini Auditorium, 5267 Old Nottoway Road, Crewe, VA.  (Please note this is a date and time change.)

Any person wanting to comment during the meeting must register by 7:00 p.m. prior to the meeting with the clerk. Persons making comments will be given five minutes to address Board member(s) present. It is recommended that any person making comments bring copies of any remarks, and provide them to the clerk, Mrs. Charlotte Wood, during registration.

The School Board will meet on the second Thursday of each month for the 2022 year, the meeting dates would be as follows:

The School Board meeting location is in the Mini-Auditorium at Nottoway High School, 5267 Old Nottoway Road, Crewe, VA, at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.



Set School Board Meeting Dates

By the State Code of Virginia, the School Board is required to reorganize at its first meeting each year, including setting the dates, times, and places for School Board meetings.

Meet The Board

The Nottoway County School Board is responsible for governing the school division for the public. The School Board determines school division policy and employs the Superintendent to implement division policy. The Superintendent, administrative staff and teachers are responsible for the day-to-day operations. The School Board has its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Special meetings are scheduled for action or discussion on matters that cannot wait until the next regular meeting.
