Good evening, tomorrow, April 25th, is Nottoway High School's Prom. Due to possible inclement weather, we will be having the Senior Walk inside the building. This will start promptly at 7:15. The seniors will be lined up upstairs and will come down through the area where parents will be allowed before the students enter the cafeteria. Parents will not be allowed into the cafeteria where the dance will take place.
Good Afternoon, this message is to hopefully clear up any confusion about the dress code at the high school. Students are still allowed to wear leggings, we are just asking that they have a top on that covers their bottom.
Students are allowed to wear shorts, but they should be size-appropriate for the school environment. Students are not to wear any clothing that inappropriately exposes body parts, such as, but not limited to, the midriff, cleavage, or portions of the body normally covered by undergarments.

Reminder: Effective January, 20th, for any NHS student attending Prom on April 25, 2026.
Students must meet the following criteria:
1. Students may not have more than 5 unexcused absences in any class.
2. Students may not have more than 5 total days of ISS or OSS combined.
These guidelines highlight the importance of good attendance, positive behavior, and responsible decision-making. We encourage families to regularly monitor their students' attendance and disciplinary records and to contact the school with any questions or concern
