NHS Important Senior Events

Good evening. Come out and join us for the NCPS Spring Carnival, hosted by Nottoway High School, for food, fun, and games. Save the date, May 9th, from 10 am to 1 pm in the High School student parking lot. If you would like to participate as a vendor, please contact Lisa Hudson at hudson.lisa@nottowayschools.org or call 434-292-5373.

Good evening, tomorrow, April 25th, is Nottoway High School's Prom. Due to possible inclement weather, we will be having the Senior Walk inside the building. This will start promptly at 7:15. The seniors will be lined up upstairs and will come down through the area where parents will be allowed before the students enter the cafeteria. Parents will not be allowed into the cafeteria where the dance will take place.

Good Afternoon, this message is to hopefully clear up any confusion about the dress code at the high school. Students are still allowed to wear leggings, we are just asking that they have a top on that covers their bottom.
Students are allowed to wear shorts, but they should be size-appropriate for the school environment. Students are not to wear any clothing that inappropriately exposes body parts, such as, but not limited to, the midriff, cleavage, or portions of the body normally covered by undergarments.

This opportunity is open only to current juniors and seniors. Interested students should see Ms. Hudson in Room 317 or email hudson.lisa@nottowayschools.org to receive the application link.
Internships are limited and not guaranteed, but all eligible students are encouraged to apply. Even if not selected for a position, this is a valuable opportunity for students to build confidence and practice job application and interview skills.
