Nottoway High School will be conducting a scheduled lockdown drill on Friday, September 19th, at approximately 2:15.
The purpose of this drill is to prepare students and staff for an emergency situation. During the drill, teachers will review safety procedures with students, and the school will practice the lockdown protocol. This is a crucial exercise to ensure that everyone knows what to do and where to go in the event of a real emergency.
Please be assured that this is only a drill, and all necessary steps will be taken to ensure the well-being of our students.

This week's events at NHS.

We're so excited to welcome our students back for the new school year tomorrow, August 20th. We hope you've had a wonderful and restful summer. The staff has been hard at work preparing for a successful year, and we can't wait to see everyone back in the halls.
As we get ready for the first day, we want to remind you of our policy regarding cell phones and other personal electronic devices. To help create a focused learning environment, students are not permitted to use or wear cell phones, smartwatches, or other personal electronic devices in school buildings or on school grounds during the instructional day.
We understand that you may need to reach your student during the day. If so, please contact the front office, and we'll be happy to get a message to them.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in making this a great school year. We look forward to partnering with you!
