Please review eligibility guidelines for any NHS student attending Prom on April 25, 2026.
Effective January, 20th, to be able to attend Prom, students must meet the following criteria:

NCPS partners in learning with SVCC to offer Dual Enrollment courses for our students. Interested students should contact their school counselor for more information. As our students approach adulthood, they must understand their rights and responsibilities at age 18. In Virginia, turning 18 means they’re legally recognized as adults—able to make their own decisions regarding legal, financial, medical, and educational matters.
For some individuals with disabilities, this transition is seamless. For others, additional support may be needed. To help families navigate this important milestone, PEATC is offering a free training:

All students are required to obtain a signed physical (physical form can be found at www.vhsl.org) before they are permitted to attend tryouts.
Boys Basketball tryouts begin Monday, November 10th, from 3:30 to 5:30 P.M. in the Main Gym at Nottoway Intermediate School.
Girls' Basketball tryouts begin Monday, November 10th, from 5:30 to 6:30 P.M. in the Main Gym at Nottoway Intermediate School.
Wrestling tryouts begin Monday, November 10th from 3:30 to 5:30 P.M. in the Weight Room behind Nottoway Intermediate School (playground area).
Indoor Track will begin when the Varsity Football season has concluded.
An activity bus will be available to take students to the following locations Monday through Thursday. Bus runs at 6:15 P.M. and 8:15 P.M.
Crewe: Crewe Station, Hardees, Sundaes.
Burkeville: Library
Blackstone: Amelia Ave and Nottoway, McDonald's, Blackstone Primary, Food Lion
