We are proud to have Lunenburg Medical support our athletics program this year by offering free physicals for 50 student-athletes on Thursday, July 31st.

All student-athletes must have a parent present and enter through the main doors of Nottoway Intermediate School. Physical examinations will start promptly at 5:00 P.M.

Please accept our apologies for the error in the earlier message. The Nottoway High School 9th-grade orientation is scheduled for August 6th, not the 9th, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Again, that date is Wednesday, August 6th—6 to 7 PM.

Good Morning. Due to the weather forecast of possible rain, we will be starting our March out for Graduation at 9:45 instead of 10:00, as we have in the past.

We will have graduation practice tomorrow, June 5th, 2025. This is mandatory. The seniors need to be in the cafeteria by 9:30 for lineup. We will march out to practice, review the program, and then take the class picture. Caps and gowns are not needed.

Nottoway High School Senior Night/ Class Night will be held on June 5th. We will have a reception in the NHS cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. (Seniors Only). The class night program will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Auditorium. The Dress Code is business professional. Wear dress pants, dress shirt, and tie. Wear a Dress skirt, dress pants, and blouse. Do not wear sneakers, flip-flops, slides, or house shoes. Clothing must comply with the Dress Code in the Student Handbook. PLEASE note that the reception start time has CHANGED from 5:00 to 5:30.

SVCC Career Coach - Mrs. Johnson will be in the library all day Tuesday, May 27th, to assist anyone who needs help completing admissions applications or class enrollment at SVCC.

The Senior Sunset event will take place on our practice field at Nottoway High School ( behind Intermediate School) from 7:00 p.m. to sunset on Friday, May 23rd. Enjoy food, music, and a good time with classmates. Bring lawn chairs and towels, and wear comfortable clothes. We will watch the sunset together as this chapter closes and another one begins.

Baccalaureate for the Senior Class is being held at Spring Hill Baptist Church, Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Seniors are asked to arrive by 1:15 to line up. Professional business attire should be worn with your cap and gown.

Come join us for the Nottoway County Public School's Spring Carnival. May 17th in the NHS student parking lot. You can also help support the Nottoway High School Student Ambassador by making a donation and selecting your favorite school board Member or School administrator to get pied in the face.

On Monday, May 12th, and Tuesday, May 13th, Nottoway High School will be SOL testing.

Nottoway High School - Driver's Education Requirement Reminder 5/8/25 Attention all parents of students taking Driver's Education who have NOT attended the 90-minute parent/student video. The school has offered multiple opportunities to attend the presentation to satisfy this requirement. Both a parent/guardian and the student are required to attend one of these meetings. These are the last days the video will be presented. In Person: Monday, May 12 @ 5:00 PM Location - NHS Mini Auditorium Thursday, May 15 @ 5:00 PM Location - NHS Mini Auditorium Zoom: Monday, May 12 @ 7:00 PM: We will start letting people in the room at 6:40.
