The Senior class picture in the shape of #24 will be taken Friday at 2:30 at the stadium weather permitting, this is a change. A good number of Seniors will not be here on Thursday afternoon so we are moving the date.

Registration for Pre- Kindergarten and Kindergarten will be held March 13th and 14th from 8:30am until 2:30pm each day. Registration occurs at BPS & CPS. We can't wait for your child to join NCPS for the 24-25 school year.


Monday, March 11th. we will be taking makeups for Senior Cap and Gown pictures.
Thursday, March 14th Seniors will be taking the senior class picture in the shape of #24. This will be in the stadium bleachers at 2:30.

NHS Families
This message is to inform you about our upcoming lockdown drill.
During the drill, students and staff will practice procedures for securing classrooms and staying safe until the all-clear signal is given. We want to reassure you that this is a routine practice and not a cause for alarm.

Prom will be held at Fort Barfoot this year on May 11, 2024
Student’s school dues must be paid and up to date in order to attend.
The cost for school dues is $10 per year.
Please see Ms. Langhorne in the office if you have any questions.
The cost for prom is $10 per person
All payments are due by April 15th. This includes dues as well. All outside guest forms are due on April 15th as well by 3:00 PM
Anyone in the vehicle will need an ID that can be scanned in order to enter Fort Barfoot. A school ID will not be accepted. If your student does not have an ID that can be scanned, they can go to the DMV to receive one. The cost is between $8-$10. If further clarification is needed, please call the high school and speak with Ms. Langhorne.

Seniors and Families - Need help with completing the extremely confusing FAFSA? If so, then you will want to attend FAFSA night at Nottoway High School on Monday, March 4 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Financial Aid reps will be available to help seniors and their families complete the FAFSA form required for financial aid. You can arrive at anytime from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The senior and parent/guardian must have a FAFSA ID to complete the FAFSA. Seniors must also know their SS#.


CORRECTION to last post. Senior make ups for cap and gown pictures will be March 11th not May.

Senior pictures will be tomorrow February 21th. Young ladies need to wear a low neck top and young men are asked to wear a button up top with a black tie. If they do not have one the photographer will provide the fake collar that was used for rising senior portraits.
Make up pictures will be Monday, May 11th.

Cap and Gown Pictures
Wednesday, February 21st our Seniors will be taking cap and gown pictures. Seniors will be called down by their homerooms throughout the day.

28 Nottoway High School students recently successfully demonstrated their knowledge of livestock operations and have completed a CTE Certification in Animal Science. The specific areas include anatomy and physiology, health and nutrition, breeding plans, harvesting, and management. They have also gained experience in building trades that will help sustain these operations. Congratulations to Mr. Scialdo and his Agriculture students. NHS Junior-Senior Prom will be held at Fort Barfoot’s Officer’s Club.
The cost of Prom will be $10 per person attending.
Outside guest forms are located in the office on the counter. All outside guest forms are due by April 15th, 2024. No exceptions.

The division has made preparations for the boil water notice from the Town of Crewe. Bottled water will be available at all schools. In addition, the kitchen has made arrangements for breakfast and lunch. Our apologies for the late notice. Please contact your school with questions.

The end of 2nd quarter is rapidly approaching. Students need to ensure all coursework has been submitted to their teacher to ensure grades are accurate. Late work can not be accepted due to the change of the semester. Please remind your child to get all work turned in to avoid repeating any courses.
