Welcome Back, Nottoway Intermediate School Families! 🐾
We are excited to welcome our students back for another wonderful school year! As we get started, we want to share a few friendly reminders to help make morning arrival, early dismissal, and attendance procedures safe and smooth for everyone.
🌅 Morning Arrival
Morning arrival begins at 8:30 a.m.
Students should enter through the front doors.
Classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Students arriving after 9:00 a.m. are considered late. A parent/guardian must come inside and sign the student in for the day.
🏠 Early Dismissal
If your child needs to leave school early:
Please send an early dismissal note with your child to homeroom.
The note should include:
Student's full name
Name of the adult who will be signing the student out
Approximate time of dismissal
Please plan to have early dismissals completed by 3:00 p.m.
After 3:00 p.m., our staff is preparing for and beginning the dismissal process for the entire school, making individual early dismissals more difficult to accommodate.
📝 Absence Notes
When your child is absent, please remember:
An absence note should be turned in on the day your child returns to school.
Please provide a separate note for each day your child was absent, unless the absence is documented by a doctor's note.
Thank you for helping us keep our arrival and dismissal procedures safe, organized, and efficient for all of our students and families.
We appreciate your partnership and look forward to an amazing school year!
Welcome Back, Tigers! 🐾
Have a GREAT year!
