BLACKSTONE ELEMENTARY STUFF’D PALS FUNDRAISER STARTS NEXT TUESDAY!
Dear Families,
We are kicking off our Stuff’d Pals Fundraiser next week on Tuesday, February 18th! This is a simple and easy fundraiser with no catalogs, no products to sell, no delivery, and no money collection. Students and parents love it!
Look for a kickoff email Tuesday along with an informational flyer/poster that will come home with your student after our in school assembly. This fundraiser takes less than 5 minutes to complete using your phone, tablet or computer.

When you register and send 10 adult emails to friends and family your student will win 5 Golden Ticket prizes! These are the Mystical Coop Lanyard, Coop Keychain, Golden Kindness Egg keychain, 12 Coop Stickers and $500 in Tuition Rewards points for their college career.
If your student earns at least $50 from supporters, they automatically win a 16”, department-store quality, Stuff’d Pals Reading Buddy. There will be 25 different animals to choose from at our party. Your emails and shares can also earn your student an outfit for their Stuff’d Pal along with many additional incentives that are new to the program this year. As school resumes on Monday, please remember to stop for school buses with flashing lights—no matter the direction. The safety of our students is a top priority, and failing to stop can have serious consequences.
Be especially vigilant during the peak hours of 6:30-9:00am and 2:30-4:00pm, when buses are transporting students. Let’s work together to ensure kids travel safely to and from school! 🚌

Nottoway County Public Schools will be closed for students on Monday, November 4th. Parent - teacher conferences will be held from 4pm- 7pm. Schools will be closed on Tuesday, November 5th for students and instructional staff. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school.

NCPS will dismiss early on Wednesday, September 18th for teacher professional development. BPS & CPS will dismiss at 11:30 am and NIS, NMS, & NHS will dismiss at 12:30pm.
We have been made aware of a social media message regarding a possible threat to schools. Although Nottoway has not been directly named in posts, we have been in contact with the Sheriff's Office and have increased police presence at our schools. We recognize this message is concerning and we want to reassure you the safety of students and staff is our top priority. As a reminder, if you see something, say something.
This message is to inform our NCPS families of dismissal times on early dismissal days. On early dismissal days, elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 am, and the complex schools will dismiss at 12:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact your child's principal.
Picture Day is coming!
As of 2:54 pm this afternoon, our buses have left the elementary schools thus creating delays in afternoon drop-offs. This will create a delay in the dismissal of buses from the NCPS complex. We apologize for the inconvenience but appreciate your understanding. We had a great first day at NCPS!
School starts on Wednesday, August 21st and we are excited to welcome you back! Please keep in mind the new start and dismissal times for our schools: BPS & CPS- tardy at 7:55am, instruction starts at 8am, and dismissal at 2:30pm; NIS, NMS & NHS- tardy at 8:55am, instruction starts at 9am, and dismissal at 3:30pm.
