Welcome to Nottoway High School! It is my honor and privilege to serve this community as principal of Nottoway High School. I have lived and worked in Nottoway County most of my life. I am a graduate of Nottoway High School and now I have the pleasure of assisting in the education of youth here in Nottoway County.
As a learning community, the staff of NHS are happy that you are joining us as we plan for another exciting year of teaching and learning at Nottoway High School. Our mission at Nottoway High School is to provide a positive, secure environment, which fosters academic, cultural and social growth. We aspire to cultivate life-long learners who continually grow, adapt, and contribute in a diverse global society.
We encourage all of our students to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available inside and outside of the classroom throughout their high school careers. In the classroom, we hope all students make a commitment to engaging in studies and doing their best work on all assignments. Outside of the classroom, find a club, sport, or activity that appeals to you and helps you to feel connected to our school and community. VISITS FROM FORMER STUDENTS
Former students who wish to visit teachers during the school day must call the school to make an appointment. Visitors will not be allowed to interrupt classes. All visitors will be expected to sign in and wear visitor identification. We appreciate everyone's cooperation in safeguarding instructional time.
