Join the NCPS SEAC – Special Education Advisory Council
Your Voice Matters. Your Experience Makes a Difference.
What is SEAC?
The Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) provides a forum for families, educators, and community members to advise the school division on issues related to special education services. SEAC works to improve outcomes and ensure all students with disabilities receive the support they need to thrive.
Why Should I Join?
As a parent or guardian of a child with an IEP, you bring essential insight. By participating in SEAC, you can:
Share your experiences and advocate for positive change
Help identify needs, challenges, and opportunities within special education
Stay informed about laws, programs, and services
Be part of a collaborative effort to support all students with disabilities in NCPS
Quarterly Meetings – Dates To Be Determined
SEAC will meet four times each year. Meetings are open, welcoming, and focused on collaboration.
Who Can Join?
Any parent or guardian of a student with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in Nottoway County Public Schools.
