This is to notify parents that there was a fire in a classroom at Nottoway Middle School. The fire was contained to one classroom and caused by a cell phone and charger. The fire was extinguished. Students at Nottoway Middle School were safely evacuated and the fire department has been contacted.

During last night’s Special Called Meeting, the board voted unanimously to change the last day of school. Students’ last day of school is now Thursday, May 30; the last day for staff is Friday, May 31. Graduation remains on Saturday, June 1.
NCPS is now enrolling in Summer School for July 2024. Please reach out to your child's school for more information.
